When developing wheeled excavators, DEVELON designers think first of all about the operator and introduce technologies that not only increase operating efficiency, but also increase operator safety. The spacious cabin has greater visibility, comfortable seating and is equipped with air conditioning.
The DX160W features a BOCSH axial piston pump with an inclined cylinder block for greater efficiency and superior high pressure response. High pump performance for its class reduces cycle times, and a powerful gear pump improves control line efficiency.
The front axle provides wide swing and steering angles. The transmission is mounted directly to the rear axle for protection and maximum ground clearance.
The new disc brake system is directly linked to the final drive rather than the drive shaft, reducing load. This minimizes the rocking effect associated with free wheel operation.
An extended oil change interval (from 1000 to 2000 hours) reduces technical downtime and reduces the cost of ownership and operating costs of the DEVELON wheeled excavator.
